Learning from Self-Exploration We moved a piano into our classroom. When we took the top off, we learned how the piano makes sound. We were also able to explore a real guitar and a big drum. We used books from the library to learn more. We loved playing all of the instruments together in a band. 4
Learning from Guests Many guests visited our classroom to teach us about different musical instruments. Evan’s mom brought a flute. Mr. White brought two snare drums. Carter’s mom brought a trumpet. Alex’s uncle brought a guitar, accordion, harmonica and banjo. We loved welcoming these visitors to our classroom and learning from them! 5
