Battery-operated wireless
ready Quad Beam
Based on the PXB Professional Beam Series,
the TXF-125E offers several advantages when
Active Infrared Beams (AIRs) are employed.
The wide beam pitch ensures stability and
reduces the possibility of unwanted
activations from wildlife and detritus, and the
IP65 design ensures integrity regardless of
the installation conditions, preventing ingress
from water, dust and insects whilst allowing
moisture within to evaporate, prohibiting
condensation.
The four-channel selection allows the
stacking of beams, and the use of multiple
beams on linear installations, further assisted
by a transmitter power selection option,
allowing the user to choose 25/50/75/100m
zone lengths.
Using just 2 batteries per unit (Tx/Rx)
approximately 5 years of service is expected,
with the option to fit 4 batteries per unit for
up to 10 years of operation; the TXF-125E
includes a Battery Sharing Function to allow
battery monitoring with an adjustable output
to customise the warning notification time.
The TXF-125E requires no wiring or civil
engineering work prior to installation.

Multi-purpose outdoor four PIR
detector
The BX Shield (BXS)
series from Optex
includes four PIRs,
two on each side,
and the detection
range and
sensitivity can be
adjusted
independently for
each side of the
sensor; the
detection area can
be set up to
12m/40ft
(24m/80ft in total).
The BX Shield has four models: two
standard, hardwired PIRs (BXS-ST) and two
hardwired models with anti-masking (BXS-
AM). There are also two battery-powered
models, standard (BXS-R), and antimasking
(BXS-RAM).
All are equipped with digitally-enhanced
signal recognition logic known as Super
Multidimensional Analysis (SMDA). The BXS
has a walk test mode to ensure the beam field
is set up correctly.

Thermal camera with built-in human and
vehicle recognition
The FB-Series ID from Flir features video analytics that are
capable of classifying human or vehicular intrusions.
Combined with Automatic Gain Control (AGC) and Digital
Detail Enhancement (DDE), the FB-Series ID provides image
contrast and sharpness, which improves analytic performance,
reportedly resulting in fewer false alarms.
Outfitted to act as a standalone security system, the FB-
Series-ID can also handoff classified intrusions to FLIR pantilt-zoom
cameras for autonomous tracking of intruders.
Featuring 320x240 resolution thermal imaging sensor, the
FB-Series ID can detect potential intruders in total darkness,
and through sun glare, smoke, dust, and light fog. Five lens
