SPRING HAS SPRUNG!!
ST PATRICK’S DAY
SPRING CARNIVAL
PARADE
St Patrick has called in the
sisters to celebrate the arrival
of spring, 100 years since the
beginning of women’s suffrage.
In ancient times, many festivals
were held in celebration of
Spring Goddesses associated
with flowering, growth and the
fertility of the land.
Celtic goddess Brigit and
Hindu goddess Bharamari
(the goddess of the bees) join
Patrick to lead the celebrations,
which will see the city streets
swell to life with the characters,
sights and sounds of Spring.
partner organisations.
