This is a great achievement with a new curriculum and higher expectations. 4

Our Priorities for Improvement in 2016 & 2017 Just because the Government’s data says we have lots of strengths we are not complacent! We have identified the key areas we need to focus on to ensure we remain Outstanding. We place our priorities for improvement under the five new categories Ofsted use to judge the school during an inspection. Priority 1 ~ The Effectiveness of Leadership and Management 1) Ensure the school’s vision and ambition is communicated and understood by our community 2) Secure more rigorous, time bound appraisal supporting whole school reviews Priority 2 ~ The Quality of Teaching, Learning, and Assessment Ensure teaching, learning and assessment across all subjects is always good or better, particularly in Science, to ensure our vision is exemplified Priority 3 ~ The Personal Development, Behaviour and Welfare Continue to actively promote pupil welfare ensuring they are safe and feel safe at all times Priority 4 ~ The Outcomes for Pupils Teacher led, targeted classroom interventions ensure more pupils achieve ARE and appropriate progress Priority 5 ~ The Effectiveness of the Early Years and Foundation Stage including 2-year olds. Developing teaching to ensure more pupils meet age related outcomes with a focus on Mathematics 5
