T It is this time of the year again: This is all from the Scifest website: www.scifest.org.za South Africa’s National Science Festival, Scifest Africa, will be celebrating its 22nd anniversary event from 7-13 March 2018 in Grahamstown, Eastern Cape. The theme for 2018 is “Innovation 4.0”, with reference to the Fourth Industrial Revolution, which attributes technology advancement and transformation. We encourage our participating organisations to think artificial intelligence, 3D printing, nanotechnology, digital, quantum computing and the unlimited possibilities of emerging technology breakthroughs. With continued support from the Department of Science and Technology, the festival makes science accessible to the public, encouraging parents and schools from across the country to bring learners to the event. Scifest Africa provides a platform for leading scientists, both locally and globally, to engage with the youth and inspire them to embark on careers in science and become leaders in these fields. Now what to see and do? Well, look here:

The programme is impressive and here are the things to do. Click on a page and be amazed. It will take you to the website The Lectures: This is rather impressive and there are 9 pages of programme! The workshops: Try it out! Great stuff for everyone The etcetera. WOW. Never knew .... so, go know!
