Time: 10 - 10:50 am Cost: $125 Concert: Enter the Haggis Saturday, March 3 @Infinity Hall, Norfolk We’re so excited to bring back Enter the Haggis for their long-awaited return to Infinity Hall Norfolk. This Indie/Folk/Gaelic Rock/World Fusion band from Toronto has become an Infinity Hall favorite. Time: 8 pm | Cost: $34 - $49 Safe Boating / Personal Watercraft Class March 5-8: Monday-Tuesday-Wednesday @Salmon Brook Park, Park House, Granby Upon completing this eight-hour class and passing the exam, which is given during the last class, the participant will satisfy the DEEP's requirements and be able to apply for a Certificate of Personal Watercraft Operation (CPWO). The cost to apply for the certificate is $50, which is NOT included in the class fee. For age requirement details, see the website. (Women Against Violence Everywhere) W.A.V.E. — Tuesday, March 13 Junior W.A.V.E. — Thursday, March 15 Thursdays through April 5 @Salmon Brook Park, Park House, Granby The WAVE I Women’s Self-Defense Program is a comprehensive program that deals with real-life scenarios. The program teaches participants the proper way to deal with threatening and dangerous situations that may arise anytime or anyplace. This no-frills class teaches practical techniques that have been proven effective. Techniques will include escape and defense from the many types of attacks a woman may face. Participants will be taught the correct way to use the weapons they possess, such as hands, feet, knees and elbows. For part of the class, participants will practice in a controlled but realistic setting when they learn to defend against an attacker dressed in a fully padded tactical suit. Time: 6:30 - 8:30 pm (both classes) Cost: W.A.V.E. $25 • Junior W.A.V.E. $20 AARP Tax-Aide Assistance Tuesdays through March 27 Thursdays through April 5 @Simsbury Public Library, Simsbury AARP Tax-Aide volunteers will provide free individual income tax filing 14 | MARCH 2018

Walk-ins will not be accepted. The program is open to anyone who needs assistance, regardless of age, income or town residence.
