Analog input EPP3632 XFC measurement | Condition Monitoring/IEPE EtherCAT Box 316 The EPP3632 EtherCAT P Box is a 2-channel oversampling interface for up to two IEPE sensors with 2-wire connection. The current of the integrated constant current source can be set to 2, 4 or 8 mA separately for each channel depending on the sensor and cable length. The input signal is sampled according to the oversampling principle with up to 50 ksamples per second per channel. The measured values can be correlated to other parts of the system through distributed clocks. Except for filtering, the EPP3632 does not pre-process the vibration amplitude values. This is done by the retrieving controller. The interface can be adapted to applicationspecific requirements by means of adjustable filters and supply currents. EPP3744 Analog input Measurement | Pressure measurement The EPP3744 EtherCAT P Box, equipped with six digital inputs, two digital outputs and four pressure inputs, acquires these signals and transmits them – electrically isolated – to the controller. The signal status is indicated by LEDs; the digital signals are connected via 4-pin M8 plug connectors. The pressure is measured as the differential pressure to the fifth connection by an integrated 6 mm fitting. The pressure values are available as 16-bit values. Measurement can be made between -1 to +1 bar (EPP3744-0041) or -7 to +7 bar (EPP3744-1041), with the value being output in relation to the fifth connection, e.g. for vacuum measurement in relation to the ambient pressure at suction grippers. In absolute-pressure mode it is possible to measure pressures between 0 to 1 bar (EPP3744-0041) or 0 to 7 bar (EPP3744-1041).
