Session Three Creating and Deploying a Highly Effective Senior and Middle Leadership Team DESCRIPTION OF SESSION: The following areas will be covered: Understanding the strength and weaknesses of your team: Using a SWOT analysis approach. Building a structure that provides clarity of role, responsibility and accountability. Analysing qualities of a successful team- using various models. Developing a highly effective communication system. Understanding staff development and training needs and what is available. How to conduct highly effective performance management reviews. Empowering Uniqueness

Session Four Exceptional use of assessment and data to raise achievement and improve our children’s and young people’s lives. DESCRIPTION OF SESSION: The following areas will be covered: Analysing what data sets we need to collect for the holistic development and progress of individuals. Understanding baseline, initial and ongoing and end point assessments. Critiquing different types of assessments for different purposes. Timings of Data collection. How to analyse your data. How to set highly effective and ambitious targets based on data analysis, linking to each Individual’s Education and Health Care Plans (ECHPs). How to create a quality assurance process to ensure the above is recognised and strategies put into place for under-performance and discrepancies within certain groups. Followed by a review of the impact of any strategies used. Governance. Empowering Uniqueness
