YOUTH ART CLASSES Location: Curtis Center for the Arts, 2349 East Orchard Road, Greenwood Village, CO 80121 The Curtis Center for the Arts is a family-friendly environment that is great for kids to be introduced to the arts as well as to continue to explore and improve their artistic skills. Classes are offered after school for preschoolers, elementary age kids and teenagers and art camps are available during school breaks. Come and have fun creating unique works of art! ARTS AND RECREATION SPRING BREAK ART CAMP Not going anywhere for Spring Break? Come to the Curtis Center for the Arts to create fun and unique hands-on art projects! Join us for one day or all three days! Monday, March 26 through Wednesday, March 28 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Monday, March 26 — Glass Painting Kids will design and paint their own glass flower vase. Tuesday, March 27 — Fabric Painting Decorate your own tote bag using Sharpies but, we will do a fun trick to make it look like tie-dye! Wednesday, March 28 — Cookies and Canvas Kids will create a spring themed painting using acrylic on canvas. Oh, and they get to eat cookies and drink punch while they paint! $20 per program Ages 6 to 12 Instructed by Lauren Brant SPRING BREAK SCULPTURE CAMP Architecture in Clay is the theme for this year’s sculpture camp. Kids will design and construct their own buildings made from clay slabs and molds. The house they will design will be from their own imagination. To construct the buildings kids will use various clay and sculpting techniques. They will carve and prepare their pieces to be fired. Information about picking up the finished fired pieces will be provided at the program. Please wear clothes that can get dirty.
