We have a wonderful opportunity to be led in the celebration of the Seder by the Klos family. Ethan will share with us his knowledge and insights of the faithful practices of his family for generations. This will be a potluck supper, the elements of the Seder will be provided. Please let the office know, or complete an insert in Sunday’s bulletin, to let us know if you are planning to attend so we can properly prepare. LENTEN SOUP SUPPERS MARCH 7 Lisa Barnett Her research upon Native American religious practices MARCH 14 Cele-break – Dinner, discussion and activities for all ages! The Lent/Easter Team is capitalizing on the schools Spring Break to have a special Wednesday evening. This time of year, we can feel the need to STOP,to breathe and to be with community. March 14 is an opportunity to do just that. Supper begins at 6 pm. Our activities will begin around 6:45. All ages from the youngest to the oldest can participate. Come Cele-Break together. MARCH 21 Rev. Megan Lilburn Turner, speaker Megan Lilburn Turner is Minister to Children and Families at Northway Christian Church in Dallas. A graduate of TCU and Brite Divinity School, Megan’s ministry has included House-Parent for a Foster Group Home, a Pediatric Chaplain for Cook Children’s and a local hospice agency, as well serving a year as a Child Protective Service Investigator. At Northway, she provides pastoral care, leadership, and oversight for ministries to children from birth to fifth grade, as well as their families. She also ministers to those families whose children will be attending the new University Park elementary school. Megan and her husband Cedric have two daughters Sophia and Berkleigh, who also are granddaughters to Sanna and Tony Lilburn. Megan will share with us from her personal and professional experience how the church can help address some of the challenges faced by families in today’s world.
