During my teenage years, <strong>March</strong> was a highly<br />
anticipated month for multiple reasons. The<br />
excitement of participating in parades (for<br />
International Women’s Day on <strong>March</strong> 8th), shopping<br />
for that perfect Mother’s Day gift, and scouring through fashion<br />
magazines and blogs for the latest in London and Paris Fashion<br />
Week trends, I could hardly contain my ebullience. As I grew<br />
older, the list of events multiplied, now including the renowned<br />
Art Dubai, Yoga Festival, Dubai International Boat Show, and<br />
lest we forget the billion-dollar event of the year, Dubai World Cup. This month, we’re<br />
adding our very own event to the list – WILEF (Women Inspiring Leadership and<br />
Entrepreneurship Forum). Taking place at Bab Al Qasr, Abu Dhabi on <strong>March</strong> 21 st and 22 nd ,<br />
the event brings together women leaders from the finance and business world for a two<br />
day event showcasing entrepreneurship traits and financial trends (page 12).<br />
In celebrating women, we interviewed Reem Al Ghaith, the General Manager of<br />
Enable (a social enterprise) responsible for creating a skilled workforce of Emirati<br />
men with special needs. Find out how she empowers these men, bringing out their<br />
talent and creativity with a sustainable business model (page 18). Speaking of<br />
inspiring and influencing individuals, Yassine Saidi, talks celebrity endorsements<br />
and the rise of sneaker culture thanks to Puma (page 14). The success of the SpaceX<br />
and Tesla Roadster launch was another notch on Elon Musk’s belt, yet all his heart<br />

<strong>March</strong> brings us into the first quarter of <strong>2018</strong>. It’s time to book a holiday. We take a<br />
