Jaime Guerra. She had

Jaime Guerra. She had worked in a sale barn owned by Lois (Twiggy) Langer, too (oh my gosh can you imagine?!). In Italy, she worked with Fernando Vichi, and her dressage trainer was the German Master, Robert Meyer. There are many others that helped to develop her career and are still helping her for which she very grateful. When Lilia got married she moved around the world with her husband, following his career. This gave her the opportunity to be able to teach, train horses, and manage barns in places such as Saudi Arabia, Italy and Mexico. Lilia also competed internationally throughout Saudi Arabia, Italy, USA and Mexico. In Jeddah, Saudi Arabia she organized a small Show Jumping Circuit between the local barns that rallied families to ride competitively because women were not able to compete at that time. In Tampico, Mexico Lilia organized a riding school that remains active, even after she moved on. The people that Lilia taught there have invited her back to teach clinics for their friends and children. We are so excited to have Lilia White as our March Member of the month. She has been an asset to the equestrian community at both the local and international level. Be sure to look for her and her students at the shows this season!
