Software Guide V27 - Panamatic Mini, Midi, Optima 2 v1.6

9.

9. Guide to parameter settings Maintenance count This parameter defines the service due date, this is measured by the number of completed cycles. A defined number of cycles are set by this parameter, the machine counts down from this number: • 50 = 5000 cycles, after 100 cycles the count is reduced by 1 • 49 = 4900 cycles, after 100 cycles the count is reduced by 1 When the count reaches 00 the display will show F4, this alert message means a service visit is required. The machine can still be operated as normal with an F4 alert on the display. To clear the F4 press and hold: • Panamatic Mini - SW2 for 10 seconds • Panamatic Midi - SW2 for 10 seconds • Panamatic Optima 2 - SW2 for 10 seconds The current cycle count can be viewed by turning the power OFF and back on again, the number in the display represents the number of cycles left before the machine generates the F4 service required alert. Hands-free IR proximity sensitivity The Pulpmatic range of machines are fitted with an IR (infra-red) hands free proximity sensor located below the green “Start” icon on the display. Holding your hand over this sensor will put the machine into cycle. This IR (infra-red) sensor is only activated when the water tank is full and the lid has been opened. From V22 the hands free sensor is active if water tank is not yet full. Previous versions of software require the water tank to be full before hands free sensor becomes active. The IR (infra-red) sensor remains active if the auto-open/auto-start function is selected. The IR (infra-red) sensitivity MUST be calibrated once the machine has been installed, this MUST be done on every machine. The IR (infra-red) sensor may be affected by natural or man-made sources of infra-red light, (room lighting for example). If the setting is too sensitive the sensor will self-activate. If the setting is too low the sensor will not be triggered by the operator. The sensor should activate with the hand 25mm to 50mm away from the surface of the “start” sensor. Machine start options The Panamatic Mini, Midi & Optima 2 machines have a number of programmable start options. 00 = Selecting this option will allow the machine to operate from the I.R hand start only 01 = Selecting this option will enable starting a machine cycle from the foot cup sensor. By placing your foot into the foot cup sensor at the base of the machine will automatically put the machine into a cycle 02 = Selecting this option will allow the machine to operate from the I.R hand start and the lid will close after the adjustable time delay (value changeable in Lid auto-close time parameter) which is set to the default of 60 seconds. Buzzer sound enabled 34 = Selecting this option will allow the machine to operate from the I.R hand start and the lid will close after the adjustable time delay (value changeable in Lid auto-close time parameter) which is set to the default of 60 seconds. Buzzer sound disabled 10 = Selecting this option will enable starting a machine cycle from the foot cup sensor. By placing your foot into the foot cup sensor at the base of the machine will automatically put the machine into a cycle. The lid will open after the pre-set time (Parameter Lid pre-open delay time) and the lid will close after the adjustable time delay (value changeable in Lid auto-close time parameter) which is set to the default of 60 seconds. Buzzer sound enabled 42 = Selecting this option will enable starting a machine cycle from the foot cup sensor. Buzzer sound disabled 24 hour pump run / wash 00 = Selecting this option will not enable any of the 24 hour pump / run wash options 01 = Selecting this option will run the water pump for 10 seconds every 24 hours 02 = Selecting this option will perform a full wash cycle every 24 hours 03 = Selecting this option will run the water pump for 10 seconds within 1 minute to ascertain the setting is functioning correctly.
