Get up close and feel the prop wash and hear the noise as radial engines power these historic WWII aircraft. See some of the old planes your father, grandfather or grandmother learned to fly for World War II. Admission is $15 per CAR at the gate or $10 per car if ticket is purchased in advance online (check our website or facebook page for details) and earns you a day of aircraft and military vehicle displays, museum exhibits and fun. Warbird rides will also be available for purchase. Food, drinks, gifts and souvenirs will be available. Come on out and honor America. The Commemorative Air Force is a non-profit national patriotic organization whose membership includes people from all backgrounds sharing an interest in aviation and history. www. NATURE PROGRAMS FOR PRESCHOOL-AGED CHILDREN SATURDAYS IN NATURE This program is held on the fourth Saturday of each month at the Edith L. Moore Nature Sanctuary, held between 1 and 4 PM. A guided nature walk will begin at 2 PM. No reservations required. Donations are encouraged. This is a “whole family” program; parents or other adult guardians should participate with their children.
