Air Conditioning Contractors of America ® Middlegate Village (MG) MIDDLEGATE VILLAGE ANNUAL MEETING/POOL REGISTRATION INFORMATION! We must have the equivalent of 80 homeowners in attendance either in person or by proxy to establish quorum. You can pick up your pool tags at the annual meeting for no charge. Please bring proper Identification (driver’s license, utility bill etc.) along with the completed pool registration form. We will process your pool form during the annual meeting for distribution that night. (MG) BIRD COMMITTEE UPDATE The Middlegate Bird Committee is keeping an eye on park trees to note arrival of migratory birds. The wish is to divert herons and egrets from the parks in hopes they’ll set up nests elsewhere, perhaps in Bear Creek Park and in coastal estuaries. You might soon see the committee using noisemakers and some tennis balls to disturb newly arrived birds. Action is time critical, as the birds can build a nest in two days. Once a protected bird has set up the nest and laid eggs, it is illegal to disturb the bird. The committee met with SCS and tree trimming vendors in both parks, with intent to trim up trees and remove other trees in advance of arrival of migratory birds. Key to managing bird activity, is making the trees unattractive to the birds. They especially like the interlaced tree canopy. If you see egrets, herons or other migratory birds in the pool park or gazebo park, leave a message at Northmead Village (NM) SPRING GARAGE SALE: APRIL 21, 2018 The Northmead Village Spring Community Garage Sale will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2018 from 7 AM until 3 PM.
