area, was recently interviewed
on Great Day Houston with Deborah
Duncan. Because she specializes
in children and adolescent issues,
she was able to provide insight on
parenting and shared tips and skills
for the new year. Jennie received
her undergraduate degree from the
University of Texas at Austin and
her master’s degree in psychology
at Houston Baptist University in 2015. Her private practice includes
working with children, adolescents, adults and couples. Check out the

The Texas A&M AgriLife extension Service and the Harris County Master
Gardeners are pleased to offer the Green Thumb Gardening Series of
Lectures. These presentations are free and there are no reservations.

Open Garden Day has been relocated to the Weekley Community Center
at 8440 Greenhouse Road, Houston. We won’t have outdoor gardens, so
the activities will focus on nature crafts, small plants in pots and games.
