MegaZemin SL20 Self

MegaZemin SL20 Self Levelling Grader Trowel Coating (3 - 20 mm) PRODUCT DESCRIPTION Cement based, easily spread surface grader trowel coating, which enhances floor strength an contains special additives. AREAS OF USE MegaZemin SL20 is used on such spaces exposed to pedestrian traffic, the cement based surfaces and concrete slabs in order to form a smooth and contraction free floor with high surface quality prior to the pavement of flooring materials (such as ceramic, PVC, carpet and parquet). It is suitable for use on horizontal surfaces of indoors and outdoors spaces. PRODUCT ADVANTAGES • Highly adhesion and surface resistant. • Does not cause cracking and deflection. • High bending and compressive strengths. • Enables a smooth surface thanks to its self levelling nature. • Applied easily and rapidly. PERFORMANCE Compressive strength ≥ 35 N/mm 2 TS EN 13892 - 2 Bending strength ≥ 5 N/mm 3 TS EN 13892 - 2 Abrasion resistance ≤ 10 cm 3 TS EN 13892 - 3 The foregoing values represent the results of the laboratory tests conducted at 23 ± 2°C temperature and 50% ± 5 relative humidity conditions. The values provided as per the table may vary depending on the surface and ambient conditions. REFERENCE STANDARDS Certifications/Standards TS EN 13813 Ministry of Public Works and Settlement Item No. Ministry of Public Works and Settlement Item No.: 04.613/3C QUALITY CERTIFICATES Conformant to TS EN 13813. CE APPLICATION PROCEDURE Application Surfaces Indoors and Outdoors Floors; - Cement based floors (MegaFilm primer applied) - Concrete (MegaFilm or MegaFilm BB primer applied) Surface Preparation • The application surface should be dry, clean, sound and dust-free, and should have been cleansed of oil, dirt or any materials that may prevent adhesion, and any such materials as mortar and cement residues should be scraped from the application surface. • The surface defects, which are deeper than 2 cm, should be repaired with MegaTamir İ or MegaTamir K 24 hours in advance. In the cases, where structural repair mortar should be used; MegaTamir İ Yapısal or MegaTamir K Yapısal may be preferred. • Upon the completion of the repair process, MegaFilm primer should be applied in a single coat with a brush and be left to dry for 1 to 2 hours in order to enhance the adherence and stabilize the surface absorption. • Exposed concrete surfaces should be applied MegaFilm BB exposed concrete primer in single coat and be left to dry for minimum 3 hours prior to the application of the adhesive mortar in order to enhance the adhesion strength. Application Methods • The mixture should be poured on the surface, on which MegaFilm or MegaFilm BB primer has been applied, and be left to spread autogenously. The thickness of the layer should be adjusted with a plain trowel and depth gauge bead. • Spiked roller should be employed or spiked shoes should be worn during the application in order to eliminate any air bubbles within the product and to facilitate the spreading. • The mixture can spread autogenously within the first 15 to 20 minutes and should, therefore, be applied to the floor within the said period of time. Application Recommendations • The product should, once mixed, be used before the expiration of its pot life. Any mortar, the pot life of which has expired, should not be used during the application. • Any foreign material should not be added into the product during the application. • Any extra water should not be added to the mixture. • The surface should be preserved from air currents and water contact during and after the application. • The product should not be applied to such surfaces, which are exposed to risk of freezing within the next 24 hours, which are frozen or the frost of which is thawing. • Due care should be given to prevent the exposure of the material to direct sunlight in hot weather conditions. • The product should not be applied on extremely windy weather conditions or on hot surfaces, which are exposed to direct sunlight; and in the cases, where application is imperative under such conditions, the environment and the surface should be prepared for application in advance. • The product should not be applied in rainy weather conditions, and the application surface should be preserved from rain for a period of 24 hours. • Refer to our technical support hotline for recommendation on different surface applications. (PHONE: 444 4 595) Surface and Ambient Temperature The surface and ambient temperature should be between +5°C and +35°C whilst at application. Application Limits Useful time for prepared mixture - Pot life Application period Film formation time Opening the traffic Parquet, PVC coating 20 dk. MegaZemin BYS Surface Hardening Mortar For Concrete Floors PRODUCT DESCRIPTION Cement and mineral based, inherently colorful, ready-to-use surface hardening material with quartz content, which is applied in powder form on fresh concrete. AREAS OF USE MegaZemin BYS is used for any and all such spaces as warehouses, factories, restaurants and shopping malls, which require high abrasion resistance and where dusting should be prevented. It is suitable for use on horizontal and vertical surfaces in indoors and outdoors spaces. PRODUCT ADVANTAGES • Enhances the concrete strength thanks to its quartz content. • Enhances the abrasion and impact resistance of concrete. • Reduces the water absorption of concrete. • Prevents dusting on the concrete thanks to its special composition. • Provides an aesthetically good appearance for the floor with the range of colors, in which it is delivered. PERFORMANCE Resistance to abrasion ≥ %30 Capillary water absorption ≥ 0.1 kg/m 2 h 1/2 Impact resistance ≥ 4 Nm Adhesion strength ≤ 1.5 N/mm 2 Penetration depth into the surface ≥ 5 mm The foregoing values represent the results of the laboratory tests conducted at 23 ± 2°C temperature and 50% ± 5 relative humidity conditions. The values provided as per the table may vary depending on the surface and ambient conditions. REFERENCE STANDARDS Certifications/Standards TS EN 1504 - 2 Ministry of Public Works and Settlement Item No. Ministry of Public Works and Settlement Item No.: 04.613/3F04 (Gray), 04.613/3F05 (Red), 04.613/3F06 (Green) QUALITY CERTIFICATES Conformant to TS EN 1504 - 2. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Application Surfaces Indoors and Outdoors Floors; - Fresh concrete Surface Preparation • The surface should be robust, dense and should have been properly finished prior to application. • The load-bearing concrete of the application surface should be class C25. • Soft spots, bulges, dust, dirt, such materials as construction residues should be cleaned from the surface before the casting of the concrete. Application Methods • In order to establish whether or not the floor is ready for the application of MegaZemin BYS following the surface finished in the case of fresh concrete, one should strongly press his/her thumb on the concrete surface. If such pressure causes a trace in some 3 to 5 mm depth on the surface, then the surface is read for application. • Roughly 2/3 of MegaZemin BYS should be spread on the surface, homogenously. • Once the spreading is complete, the surface should be let rest for MegaZemin BYS to gather moisture. • The material should be rubbed into the surface with a low cycle rotary float (mechanical trowel) and be so ensured to integrate with the concrete. • The remaining material should, then, also be rubbed into the surface, which should thereafter be finished. • Once the surface hardens to such extent that it allows to be walked thereon, the final finishing should be performed by high cycle finishing. • Once the surface hardening application is complete, MegaZemin Kür, our surface curing agent, in order to prevent the formation of contraction cracks and dusting. should be preserved from rain for a period of 24 hours. • Refer to our technical support hotline for recommendation on different surface applications.
