Nearly 100 area business and community leaders were in attendance as the chamber reported on progress achieved in 2017 and plans to continue driving positive momentum in the coming year. Attendees began the evening with an opportunity for networking during the social hour and were treated to the VIP experience, having their photo snapped to commemorate the event in front of a Hollywood style backdrop. Dinner was served following brief introductions of the chamber board and staff. ABOVE: Miranda Larsen, Aventure Employee of the Month The newest face at the Fairmont Area Chamber office received recognition last month for her outstanding performance and dedication as an employee. Chamber Finance Coordinator, Miranda Larsen, was named the "Employee of the Month" for the month of February by local staffing agency and chamber member Aventure Staffing. As a strong advocate for attracting and developing quality employees both among our member businesses and in our community as a whole, we are thrilled to have Miranda as an asset to our workplace. We applaud Miranda for her positive attitude and dependable work ethic, and we look forward to the continued benefits of the unique strengths that Miranda brings to our team in her role as part of the chamber staff.
