Boys Futsal
The Lincoln High School Junior A Boys Futsal team
is attending the New Zealand Secondary Schools
Futsal tournament in Wellington from the 21st to the
23rd of March.
The team will be up against 22 other secondary
schools at this years tournament. Coaches Liam
Mulcahy and Finn Gaupset have been impressed with
the improvement of this team. They started training
in December and have shown great dedication to
training and learning how to get better at Futsal.
A new sport to some of the players.
Last year at this tournement the schools team finished
in 15th place – this is a target for this years team
to improve on, although they expect very tough
competition.
Thanks to Pip Mills and Mr Jack Goodfellow for
helping the team at the tournament.
The players and management are extremely grateful
for the assistance of all sponsors and supporters who
have supported them financially in their endeavours,
without their help, getting to the tournament would
not be possible.
