it is hoped to decrease the huge number of
wild rabbits in New Zealand. Of the 350
Easter Eggs!
Did you know that
chocolate contains a toxic
component, theobromine?
Humans easily
metabolize theobromine,
but the process of breaking
down theobromine in dogs
is much slower. This allows
toxic levels to build up in
the dogs system. If a
dog consumes large
amounts of chocolate,
then theobromine toxins
can cause muscle tremors,
seizures, and an irregular
heartbeat also vomiting, diarrhoea, and
hyperthermia (high body temperature) can
occur at toxic levels.
