Extensive range of food
solutions are on display
The latest multihead
weigher developments
from Ishida Europe, the
mid-range high performance
RVE series, will be one of the
highlights of the company’s
stand at this year’s Foodex
exhibition, which will focus
on Ishida’s ability to devise
complete food packing line
solutions covering weighing,
sealing and quality control.
Other models on show
include the specialist
Fresh Food Weigher for the
accurate weighing of fresh,
sticky products; the QX775
tray sealer; and advanced
AirScan leak detector, IX
x-ray inspection system and
DACS-GN checkweigher
to assist in all aspects of
maintaining the highest
quality standards.
The new CCW-RV-E-214W
multihead weigher is ideal for
the weighing of free-flowing
and semi-sticky products for
a large number of dry, fresh
and frozen food applications.
Key to its performance is
the incorporation of several
advanced technology features
Ishida’s display will focus on its ability to deliver complete packing lines
from Ishida’s top-of-therange
RV multihead weighers.
These include programmable
digital filtering and advanced
automatic feeder adjustment.
Weighers in the RVE range
can be tailored to individual
product requirements with a top
speed of up to 120 weighments
per minute depending on the
model and application.
Meanwhile, the 6-head
CCW-R2-106B Fresh Food
Weigher is designed for all
types of sticky fresh products
in smaller production batches;
the recently launched x-ray

inspection system, the Ishida
IX-EN-4093-S is ideal for
manufacturers requiring an
affordable but highly accurate
entry-level solution and the
AirScan minimises spoilage
in a wide variety of pre-packed
retail food products where
CO2 is used on the line as part
of the MAP process.
Finally, The DACS-GN-SE
checkweigher range offers a
high-value economy model
combining speed and accuracy
at an affordable price.

New tool allows for
repairs to be made
with no downtime
Heat sealing specialist Proseal will
show its new Quick Release (QR)
Cartridge Tool, which enables
any tool to be quickly and easily
removed and replaced in the event
of a problem. All the elements
that might need attention are
contained within the cartridge,
meaning repairs and adjustments
can be carried out offline while
the tray sealer continues to
operate, thus ensuring that
downtime is minimised and overall
throughput maintained.
The recently launched QR
Cartridge has joined Proseal’s
proven QR Conveyor, which
features a modular design that
allows individual sections of the
infeed and outfeed conveyors
to be removed for maintenance
and cleaning.
On show will be the GT2s, an
automatic, large-capacity, highspeed,
in-line tray sealing system
designed to cut labour costs.
It combines high throughput with
rapid tool-changing and a spacesaving
compact design. Capable
of up to 120 atmospheric packs
per minute with a six impression
tool, it offers many proven
functional and reliability benefits.
