New Student Checklist & Important Dates to Remember
❑ April 13th - Confirm Acceptance to SJCS
Online at www.stjosephschool.org
❑ May 2nd - Attend Kindergarten Orientation,
1:30 pm, Student Center. Parents and rising kindergarten students
are invited to join us to discover what to expect during the first few
weeks of school.
❑ May 15th - Last day to set up FACTS; on-line tuition and incidental payment
system. Complete & submit the 2018-19 Tuition Option Form-N.
❑ June 15th - Last day to order your child’s school supplies. SJCS
partners with 1st Day School Supplies to provide
parents the option to order supplies via the school.
❑ June - Order uniforms. Uniform Source offers a 20%
discount during the month of June. You may visit their store
in Kennesaw or order online at www.uniformsource.com
Welcome
❑ July - Order textbooks. SJCS partners with MBS Direct
for all your textbook needs. Visit www.mbsdirect.net to order.
Our school bookstore opens online July 1st.
❑ July 1st - Tuition Payment Begins. Parents have three
options for payment; one-time payment; semi-annual w/payments
due in July & December or 10 monthly payments beginning in July through April.
❑ August 2nd - Attend Student Orientation: 8am-12 noon, Cafeteria
Parents and students are invited to drop in at any time to pick up school supplies, meet
teachers, set up carpool/extended care, buy spirit wear, meet friends and more!
❑ August 2nd - Attend New Family Orientation: 7pm, Marist Hall
Parents are invited to attend this informative meeting discussing school policies,
procedures, and expectations for students.
❑ August 2nd & 3rd - Submit all forms before school starts. Students must
have the following forms submitted before starting school on August 6th. Transcript
Release Form, Immunization Form, Georgia Health Form, Archdiocesan Health Form.
❑ August 6th - FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL All students—except kindergarteners—
will go through the carpool on the first day of school. Kindergarten students will only
attend one 1/2 day of classes split across first two days of school. Parents are invited
to escort their child to class on these initial days and are welcome to attend a Boo-Hoo
Breakfast immediately following the morning bell.
