A Bite and a Blether<br />
A Bite and a Blether continues throughout the Easter holidays meeting every<br />
Wednesday from 11.30am - 1.00pm in the Village Hall. For a donation of £2.50<br />
come along and enjoy the camaraderie, a bacon roll or vegetarian alternative,<br />
home baking, tea or coffee. A warm welcome awaits.<br />
Christian Aid Week…help required<br />
Help is requested for a simple task during Christian Aid week (13 th to the 19 th May)<br />
this year. Could you assist in dropping envelopes to houses in Peebles? There are<br />
no collections, just dropping them off. If you can help cover even just your street<br />
then please contact Fiona MacFarlane on 01721 724024 or<br />

Calling all gardeners!<br />
A wee reminder that the Christian Aid Week plant sale will be on Saturday May 19 th<br />
and while it’s not exactly gardening weather just now,we can still start preparing<br />
by thinking about which plants could be divided in the spring or seeds sown or<br />

Stated Annual Meetings<br />
The Stated Annual Meeting of the Congregation of Eddleston Church will follow the<br />
Morning Service on Sunday 29 th <strong>April</strong>.<br />
The Stated Annual Meeting of the Congregation of the Old Parish Church will be<br />
held in the MacFarlane Hall following the Morning Service on Sunday 6 th May.<br />
Arrangements for Easter Sunday at Eddleston<br />
An open air service will take place at 8.00am in The Orchard on Station Road. This<br />
will be followed by a continental style breakfast in the Village Hall. Worship4All with<br />
the Junior Choir will take place at 11.45am in the church.<br />
Eddleston Church Cleaning<br />
The monthly church clean will take place on Monday 30th <strong>April</strong> at 9.30am.<br />
Eddleston Church Coffee Morning<br />
The coffee morning which took place on 17th March in Eddleston Village Hall raised<br />
£500 for church funds. Sincere and grateful thanks are extended to all who helped<br />
in any way with the organisation of this event and on the day. Special thanks go to<br />
Pentland Plants for the donation of plants to sell and to our young musicians -
