Caroline Grzeszczak and Bailey Valdes scored 22 out of the team’s 24 goals. At the Metro West Conference Freshman/Sophomore Championship meet, the Lady Panthers track and field won gold medals in six events to capture the team title by 77 points above the second-place winner. Members of DPHS’s men’s weightlifting team earned titles at the District and Metro West Championship. Senior Shaquille Kellyman won a title in the 238-pound division. He broke his own school record on the bench with a 385-pound lift and a 595-pound total. Senior Devodney Alford captured the Metro West and District Championship in the 199-pound class with a total lift of 550 pounds. In the 154-pound class, senior Dereck Neal took both titles with a 430-pound total lift.
