Pediatric Endocrinology The Pediatric Endocrinology Division offers a full range of endocrine and diabetes care. The Division has state-designation as a Regional Center for Inherited Endocrine Disorders and provides testing, treatment, and education related to congenital hypothyroidism and congenital adrenal hyperplasia (CAH). The Center for Diabetes Self-Management, a comprehensive program for children with diabetes, promotes the concept of self-care through education about the disease, as well as providing the skills necessary for diabetes selfcare. In both inpatient and outpatient settings, a team of pediatric nurses, dietitians, and endocrinologists helps children and their families master the necessary information and skills for living day-to-day with diabetes.
