Tai Chi <strong>Summer</strong> Class<br />

Specialty Class open to all Students of Tai Chi. There will be two sections of Grandmasters Yin’s<br />

2-person 8-section Staff! Get ready to apply your Tai Chi skills to a new form!<br />

Muscle Conditioning Fitness<br />

This is a one hour class designed to increase your heart rate into at least the fat burning zone and tone and sculpt<br />

your body using handheld weights; a fusion of cardiovascular training and weight training. After a warm-up you<br />

will learn combinations of movements designed to push your body and cardiovascular system into the next level.<br />

Options are given to encourage each participant to work at their own level. After forty five minutes of using handheld<br />

weights, gravity, and your body weight we will focus on muscle endurance training to improve your strength and<br />

ability to perform everyday tasks. Options given in this class will assist every participant whether you want to<br />

increase your fitness so that you’re not winded when you walk up a flight of stairs, or increase your fitness to<br />

become more physically athletic. Please be sure to bring a mat and handheld weights.<br />

KT Rusch is a certified teacher from the Tai Chi Center of Milwaukee, where she has<br />

studied and practiced for over 20 years. Her classes are known for a personal touch,<br />

a sense of humor and a very special Tibetan Singing Bowl Meditation that closes<br />

each class.<br />
