CHÂTEAU HAUT BRION<br />
Château Haut-Brion is in the region of Pessac-<br />
Leognan and the only wine estate outside of Médoc<br />
to be included in the 1855 Classification. Due to<br />
differences in the soil, this makes their wines very<br />
unique compared to the other first growths. Their<br />
land also has the longest history of vines growing<br />
and is considered to be the oldest estate in<br />
Bordeaux. They are a very innovative estate that<br />
embraces new technologies to continually produce<br />
consistent and outstanding wine.<br />

CHÂTEAU MARGAUX<br />
Château Margaux own one of the most impressive<br />
and grandest buildings amongst the Médoc<br />
Château, built in the early 19th century. They have<br />
a very talented winemaker working for them called<br />
Paul Pontallier who has been producing<br />
consistently excellent wines for the past 30 years,<br />
even in not so good vintages. A bottle of Château<br />
Margaux 1787 holds the record as the most<br />
expensive bottle of wine ever broken, insured at<br />
$225,000.<br />
