Butterfly Family Festival

77429. Come see a LIVE butterfly release! Messiah Lutheran Church is
hosting its annual Butterfly Family Festival. This year we are adding new
events! Beginning at 9 AM we will host multiple vendors along with our
silent auction. We’ve added a train ride, popcorn, cupcake decorating
and an inflatable basketball game.
Christ the Redeemer Spring Festival
All are Welcome at the Christ the Redeemer Spring Festival on April 28 th -
29 th . Get ready for family fun and entertainment for all ages! Christ the
Redeemer Catholic Church will host its 33 rd Annual Spring Festival on
April 28 th -29 th . The event, a major fundraiser for the parish, provides the
community with fun and fellowship for the whole weekend.
On the CtR church grounds, the community and parishioners will enjoy
several big-top tents, a two-story obstacle course and lots of food.
Festival activities include the cake raffle, Bingo, Sweet Shop, Crafts, Flea
Market, Plant Booth, Coke Ring Toss and the very popular expanding
food court. For the kids, they have several inflatables to play on, confetti
egg games, face painting and marshmallow shooters. A big draw is the
great food in a large tent with tons of options including egg rolls, funnel
cakes, hot dogs, jambalaya, barbecue sandwiches or barbecue stuffed
potatoes, snocones, cotton candy and popcorn. The live and silent
auctions are also great fun for the community. Some auction items in the
past have included trips, patio furniture, iPads, a complete playground
installed in your yard, themed baskets and so much more! Don’t forget
the live music, clown and magic shows for this two-day extravaganza!
Make sure to mark your calendar for Saturday, April 28 th , 6-11 PM and
Sunday, April 29 th , 12-7 PM. Also, attendees are invited to stay connected

Yes we will have your favorites: delicious BBQ lunch, cookies, a raffle,
children’s carnival games, cake walk, book walk, face painting, music,
inflatable slide and bounce house. We will feature both the Apple Watch,
Series 3 (GPS + Cellular) featuring a gray sport band and the Echo Second
Generation speaker with Alexa as part of the adult raffle. The silent
auction will run from 9:00 AM-2:30 PM. The barbecue lunch will begin
at 11:30 AM and can be taken home or eaten at Messiah. All games will
begin at 11:30 AM. Bring the whole family to see the butterfly release, eat
some great food and have some fun!
The day’s events will benefit Chrysalis, A Grace Place for Children, by providing
scholarships to families that attend our school. Chrysalis features a Christian
preschool, after school and summer camp programs. Chrysalis Christian
Preschool admits students of any race, color and national or ethnic origin.

Spring Picnic
