2. AFFILIATION<br />

2.1 The Vidyalaya is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary<br />

Education New Delhi. It has classes from Pre-Kindergarten to Senior<br />

Secondary Courses.<br />

2.2 Senior Secondary Courses :- The Central Board of Secondary<br />

Education, Delhi has accorded recognition to the Vidyalaya for the following<br />

subjects at class XI and class XII levels.<br />

They are :<br />

a) Core Languages : (i) English (ii) Tamil<br />

(b) Elective Subjects : (i) English (ii) Tamil<br />

(iii) Mathematics (iv) Physics<br />

(v) Chemistry (vi) Biology<br />

(vii) Commerce (viii) Accountancy<br />

(ix) Business Studies<br />

(x) Economics (xi) Home Science<br />

(xii) Introductory Computer Science<br />

(xiii) Accountancy and Auditing<br />

(xiv) Office Management and<br />

Secretarial Practice<br />

(xv) Bio - Technology<br />

2.3 The medium of instruction in the Vidyalaya is English. English will<br />

be the First Language, Tamil will be the Second Language and Hindi the Third<br />

Language.<br />

The Vidyalaya Provides adequate exposure not only in academics but<br />

also in a variety of co-curricular activities. The co-curricular includes<br />

Environmental Studies, Value Education, Music, Art and Computer Science.<br />

10.4 To ensure uniform shade, texture of cloth, pattern of uniform and<br />

other specification, please check with a set of outfits which are being<br />

kept in Vidyalaya office for reference. The uniform cloth prescribed<br />

for the Vidyalaya has to be obtained only from Bombay Dyeing<br />

Show Rooms.<br />

10.5 Parents are requested to specially ensure, that the tailors when<br />

cutting the cloth for Vidyalaya pinafore, do so crosswise from the<br />

length of the cloth given to them. This will enable a free<br />

circumference down at the lower half and more bagginess.<br />

11. TRANSPORT ON REQUEST<br />

11.1 The Vidyalaya will provide transport, as available with it, at request,<br />

on payment of the prescribed fees. All those who are granted this<br />

facility will abide by all rules and regulations that will be in force<br />

from time to time. An application, every year, separately will have<br />

to be made in the prescribed form for this facility.<br />

12. THE DAY BOARDING SYSTEM<br />

12.1 One of the salient features of the Vidyalaya is its Day Boarding<br />

system. It is obligatory for every child to opt for this provision.<br />

12.2 This facility provides<br />

(a) Milk and Snacks for Pre-KG and KGI Children.<br />

(b) Milk, Snacks and Lunch for KGII and Class I children<br />

(c) Lunch for children from Class II upwards.<br />

13. IDENTITY CARD<br />

13.1 Every child will be issued an Identify Card on payment. It will<br />

contain useful details for emergency. It should be worn at all times.<br />

If the Identity Card is lost or damaged, new ones, on payment must<br />

be procured. Children should not be sent to Vidyalaya without<br />

Identity Cards.<br />
