Step 2: Press the MENU

Step 2: Press the MENU button from the Control Panel of the print engine. Step 3: Press the Up or Down arrow button and select the CLEANING option. Step 4: Again, Press the Up or Down arrow button and select the MEDIUM CL. option, as shown below: Fig 92: Selecting the MEDIUM CL. Option Step 5: Press the Right arrow button to confirm the selection. Step 6: Select the group whose nozzles you want to clean viz. A, B, and AB., as shown below: Fig 93: Selecting the Nozzle Group Step 7: Press the ENTER button from the Control Panel of the print engine. Now, the cleaning process gets started. The progress of cleaning process is shown in the image below: Fig 94: Displaying the Cleaning Process Progress When the cleaning process gets completed, Fig. 92 appears again. Powerful Cleaning (Not Recommended) Follow these steps to perform the powerful cleaning: Step 1: Follow Step 1 – Step 3 of the Medium Cleaning section. Step 2: Press the Up or Down arrow button and select the POWERFUL CL. option, as shown below: Fig 95: Selecting the POWERFUL CL. Option Step 3: Press the ENTER button from the Control Panel of the print engine to start the powerful cleaning process. The progress screen of the cleaning process appears, as shown below: Fig 96: Selecting the Nozzle Group When the cleaning process gets completed, Fig. 92 appears again. Press the Menu button and start performing operations as per the requirements. Manual Cleaning Before starting the manual cleaning, you need to follow the below mentioned instructions: Remove fabric to start the manual cleaning process. Try to finish the cleaning process in 30 minutes to avoid Print Head dryness. Use only cotton swabs provided with printer for cleaning. Don’t reuse the cleaning material, mainly cleaning stick or cotton swabs, again and again. Don’t put much pressure while cleaning the Print Head. Manual Cleaning is done by enabling the Manual Cleaning mode which includes the cleaning of the following parts: Wiper cleaning Print Head and its surrounding surface cleaning Let’s discuss each process one by one in the upcoming section.
