A PHOTO FROM LAST YEAR'S OPEN GARDENS As a result of our successful Open Gardens income last year, we gave £2,000 to Tylers Green Middle School to purchase a defibrillator, for school and public use, at their request. We look forward to seeing it mounted and in use. Our very capable Treasurer, David Williams, will be retiring from us later this year, and we would welcome hearing from people who might consider replacing him. For more information please ring David on 07889766265. Please consider volunteering for Village Care – it is a worthwhile charity, and we cannot do without you. On Friday 16 March, we visited Woking GC, one of the finest courses in the South-East. A brand-new venue awaits us on Friday 13 April, when we will head to Verulam GC. Later that month, a large party of ‘Waders’ will fly out to Barcelona for 4 nights and 3 rounds of golf, with 2 at the fabulous PGA Catalunya venue. Our Captain’s Charity Golf Day last December at Ashridge Golf Club was a huge success with over 70 golfers taking part.
