L I V E Y O U R D R E A M Brave, daring and courageous is just what people normally think about stuntmen. In reality, a stunt performer is a highly trained professional with qualified skills in various forms of specialized actions, and a master of accuracy and precision of timing. When Vincent Wang was six years old, he was selected by the Chinese government to be trained as a martial artist. Little did he know that one day, he would be a stunt performer in Hollywood movies such as Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Captain America: The First Avenger, just to name a couple. "I was just happy because instead of studying all the time like other kids, I got to learn Kung Fu," Vincent recalls. During his tweenage years, his dream was to become a champion in martial arts and represent China in competitions and performances on the international stage. In school, Vincent spent six to seven hours a day to practice Wushu, the Chinese term for martial arts. For the general study, it was only two to three hours each day. Fast forward to his adult years. Vincent has moved from China and has became a martial arts teacher in England. His students, who worked in the film industry, led him to his first stunt assignment for BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation).
