might be done about the Hawke St<br />
car park in New Brighton (see page 1).<br />
City councillor David East has approached<br />
WorkSafe, which is now investigating to determine if<br />
the potholes are a danger.<br />
That should be a fairly quick investigation. The potholes are<br />
dangerous and an eyesore.<br />
Not so much a danger for a nimble fellow like myself but if<br />
you are elderly or disabled they are a worry.<br />
WorkSafe is contacting the various owners of the car parks<br />
that are potholed, and if they don’t sort the problem they could<br />
face health and safety action.<br />
