Erica, Japan’s next robot news anchor Erica, a lifelike android designed to look like a 23-year-old woman, may soon become a TV news anchor in Japan. Honda XR 190L Syakar Trading Company Pvt. Ltd., Distributor for Honda Products in Nepal, launched the new XR 190L at their Wing World Showroom in Teku on Feb 4th, 2017. The XR 190L is the first off-road motorcycle in Nepal to have PGM-Fi (Fuel-Injection), which delivers precise amount of fuel to the engine, which means easier cold starts, better mileage and consistent power delivery. This motorcycle has 12-liter fuel tank with fuel level indicator making it suitable for adventures without worrying about fuel stations on roads. Colors S9 and S11 In 2018, Colors Mobile will be introducing their new S Series with the tagline ‘Style & Selfie’ as a low budget smartphone with state of the art style and impressive features. The company will be launching two smartphones from this series- S9 and S11 which is priced under Rs. 15,000. S9 comes in a metallic body with 5.2-in HD IPS display powered by MT6737 processor clocked at 1.3GHz. This phone comes equipped with 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage. It has a 13MP rear camera with auto focus and flashlight and 8MP front camera with fixed focus with 3000mAh battery. The unique feature of S11 is its 8MP dual front camera with 120 degree wide angle lens. The two front cameras will work individually -one for normal selfies and the other for good selfies. The smartphone comes with 3GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage. Google Fit Google Fit is a very useful fitness application which counts the number of footstep during the exercise and deduces the amount of calories burnt. Users can also set the goals in terms of steps after planning the amount of calories to burn on any given day. The app also tracks the activities as the exercise like walking or jogging, running, cycling, etc. This app is free and can provide overview of the exercise pattern. Locus 2018 Locus is an organization of independent group of students of Pulchowk Campus for the development of vocational education in Nepal.
