Students learn basic terms and definitions, specifi c federal laws and DEA number verifi cation, the impact of drugs/drug combinations on the body, the basics of Aseptic Compounding and parameters used in the pharmacy, math used in the pharmacy and the day-to-day operation of the pharmacy. Upon successful completion of the program, students are eligible to sit for the exCPhT (Certifi ed Pharmacy Technician Examination) through NHA (National Healthcareer Association) which is included in the cost of the class.
