Getting a clear and high-quality printout is a need of every office. However, no machine works flawlessly. If you are a user of Lexmark printer and want to change the color setting according to your print requirements then to do this for your printing the documents, do the following: 1. Open the Lexmark software application. Locate File tab on the top of the window and then click Print. 2. This will open the Print dialog box. Now, from the third pop-up menu from the top, select Color Options. 3. Select the color settings as Black Only which print black and white only resulting in grayscale printout and Color which is helpful for colorful printout and graphics. • Black and white print has high speed rather than a colorful printout.
For Mac OS X version, follow the given instructions: • Open the Print dialog box. Click on ColorSync from the third pop-up menu. • Now, in the Quartz Filter, select Black & White, Blue Tone, Gray Tone, Lightness, Decrease, Lightness Increase, Reduce File Size, or Sepia Tone to get a customized filter. • Click Add Filters and follow the on-screen instructions to create and add your custom filter. If you wish to adjust the same settings while scanning a document to get an optimum color output. Then, open the software application of Lexmark.
