Offset the rectangle 47.5 inwards.
Delete the original rectangle.
Activate the Rectangle command and select
the corner point of the bedroom.
Select the Dimensions option from the
command line, and then specify 90 and 27.5
as length and width of the rectangle,
respectively.
Move the pointer downward and click
create the rectangle.
Rotate the bed by 90 degrees.
Activate the Move command and select the
bed. Press Enter to accept the selection.
Select the top left corner of the bed to define
the base point.
Select the top left corner of the offset
rectangle to define the destination point.
Create another rectangle by selecting the
corner points, as shown below.
