2. Finish the sketch.
3. Click 3D Model > Create > Extrude on the
ribbon.
4. Select the sketch.
5. Select the All option from the Extents dropdown.
6. Click the Cut button on the dialog.
Creating the Rib Feature
In this section, you will create a rib feature at the
middle of the model. To do this, you must create a
mid-plane.
1. To create a mid-plane, click 3D Model > Work
Features > Plane > Midplane between Two
Parallel Planes on the ribbon.
7. Click OK to create the cut feature.
2. Select the right face of the model.
3. Select the left face of the model; the midplane is
created.
