The donation was part of the company’s social investment program, and Chevron has been a partner in the district’s development of the I&M Canal Trail. This is the third consecutive year that Chevron has donated money to the Forest Preserve District of Will County. The monetary donations are in addition to past contributions that were used for trail development and beautification along the path. Carri Douglas (left), a project manager for Chevron Environmental Management Co., and Scott Bick (middle), lead project geologist for the Lockport-based division of the company, present Ralph Schultz, the Forest Preserve District of Will County’s chief operating officer, with a check for $1,000 that will be used to plant trees at access areas.
