Location<br />
Touch to access Location (refer to section “10.4.1 Location”).<br />
Security<br />
Remotely locate this device: Turn on the switch , the device<br />
location can show on Android Device Manager.<br />
Allow remote lock and erase: Turn on the switch , you can<br />
remotely lock or factory reset the device with Android Device Manager<br />
if you lose the device.<br />
Scan device for security treats: Turn on the switch , Google will<br />
regularly check your device and prevent or warn about potential harm.<br />
Imporve harmful app detection: Turn on the switch , the device<br />
will send unknown apps to Google for better detection. Turn on Scan<br />
device for security treats first befor turn on this function.<br />
Ads<br />
Reset advertising ID: Touch to reset your advertising ID with a new<br />
random number.<br />
Opt out of Ads Personalization: Turn on the switch , apps not to<br />
use your advertising ID to build profiles or show you personalized ads.<br />
Ads by Google: Touch to open the Ads with Browser or Chrome.<br />
Nearby<br />
Nearby allows Google recommend applications or websites for the<br />
<strong>user</strong> based on <strong>user</strong>’s location information. When it detects the <strong>user</strong><br />
is in the museum visit, it will be recommended to the <strong>user</strong> audio<br />
applications.<br />
Your device must be online to show links to apps or websites from<br />
things nearby.<br />
Touch SCAN NOW to scan available apps or website.<br />
Search & Now<br />
The phone provides a search function which can be used to find the<br />
information you want on your phone, in your applications or on the<br />
web.<br />
Touch to access settins about accounts and privacy, language, voice<br />
search, etc..<br />
Set up nearby device<br />
This feature helps you restore your nearby device while you are in<br />
same Wi-Fi region and the device is adjacent to you. If you are booting<br />
your device for the first time, while setting it you will come across an<br />
option Got another devic. Now select the option copy your Google<br />
accounts, apps, and data from your other device and click on NEXT.<br />
Follow the steps to finish the setup, the data will be copied from<br />
nearby device to your new device.<br />
10.4.5 Language & input<br />
Use the Language & input settings to select the language for the text<br />
on your phone and for configuring the onscreen keyboard. You can<br />
also configure voice input settings and the pointer speed.<br />
