City Matters 071

CITYMATTERS.LONDON 11 - 24 April 2018 | Page 11 Dragon Café in the City welcomes anyone living or working in the Square Mile who is feeling the pressure of work or life. Offering a space to relax and recharge, it is open to everyone on a drop-in basis and is located in Shoe Lane Library (EC4A 3JR), on alternate Thursdays, between noon and 8:30pm. The Café offers a range of completely free activities and events to help boost resilience and support mental wellbeing, including mindfulness, massage, yoga and creative workshops. The space also provides a calm and quiet space for those who want to take a break from everyday life. Why not drop in during lunch, or pop by on your way home? Visitors are welcome to bring their own food into the library, too. Dragon Café in the City sessions will be running on 19th April, 3rd, 17th and 31st May, 14th and 28th June and 12th and 26th July. Dragon Café in the City is a collaboration between Mental Fight Club, Barbican & Community Libraries and Business Healthy and is funded by the City of London Corporation and the Wellcome Trust and Carnegie UK’s “Engaging Libraries” programme. @cityoflondoncorp | @cityoflondon
