CLIM2POWER is looking for synergies into other projects <strong>work</strong>ing<br />

with the power sector <strong>and</strong> energy use <strong>and</strong>/or seasonal clim<strong>at</strong>e<br />

forecasts.<br />

We are interested in exchanging ideas on interfaces for web<br />

applic<strong>at</strong>ions <strong>and</strong> how to make very large d<strong>at</strong>a sets user-friendly.<br />

About the project consortium<br />

The CLIM2POWER consortium combines 12 partners balancing different skills <strong>and</strong><br />

perspectives as follows:<br />

• NOVA - Associação para a Inovação e Desenvolvimento da FCT, PT: Project Coordin<strong>at</strong>ion<br />

<strong>and</strong> Portuguese case study: Douro river basin, wind <strong>and</strong> solar power resources <strong>and</strong><br />

clim<strong>at</strong>e projections module;<br />

• DWD - Deutscher Wetterdienst, DE: Leader of WP2 <strong>Clim<strong>at</strong>e</strong> D<strong>at</strong>a, seasonal clim<strong>at</strong>e<br />

forecasts;<br />

• BOKU-DSS - Institute for Sustainable Economic Development, University of N<strong>at</strong>ural<br />

Resources <strong>and</strong> Life Sciences, AT: German-Austrian case study: Germany-Austria: the<br />

Danube river basin, wind <strong>and</strong> solar power resources <strong>and</strong> the German-Austrian market<br />

zone;<br />

• BOKU-IWHW - Institute of W<strong>at</strong>er Management, Hydrology <strong>and</strong> Hydraulic Engineering,<br />

University of N<strong>at</strong>ural Resources <strong>and</strong> Life Sciences, AT: Hydrological modelling of the<br />

Danube river basin <strong>and</strong> Leader of WP3 - Renewable energy <strong>and</strong> dem<strong>and</strong> simul<strong>at</strong>ion;<br />

• ARMINES Centre de M<strong>at</strong>hém<strong>at</strong>iques Appliquées de Mines ParisTech, FR: European <strong>and</strong><br />

French case studies (wind <strong>and</strong> solar power resources <strong>and</strong> the whole power system).<br />

Lule älv river basin, wind <strong>and</strong> solar power resources <strong>and</strong> whole power system<br />

• ACTeon, FR: Leader of WP5 - Co-development of <strong>Clim<strong>at</strong>e</strong> Service prototype with endusers<br />
