Do your bit....
A little goes a long way…
To help secure the future of this free event we
need your support, and we ask again for your
generosity. Your kind donations are crucial to
keep the airshow flying and also do good things
for local charities too.
30% of donations will go to three charities:
Children with Cancer Fund, Missing People and
You Raise Me Up.
The Children with Cancer fund, grants wishes
to children who have, or have had cancer.
Wishes can be practical, medial or fun and are
there to support families too. From a new bike
to swimming with dolphins, the money raised
today can make a huge difference to their lives.
The charity also supports local hospitals and
community nurses who assist in the care of
children under their remit.
Missing People is the only charity in the UK
dedicated to bringing missing children and
adults back together with their families. The
non-profit organisation provides free and
confidential 24-hour help 365 days a year, whilst
campaigning to improve the emotional, practical
and legal support that missing people and their
families should receive.
Finally, You Raise Me Up is a charity committed
to raising funds to support families who have
suffered the loss of an adult child between
the age of 16 and 25. Counselling support,
emotional help and financial aid are just the
basis of what the charity is capable of offering to
those in need. It relies entirely on donations, to
help continue the service.
Donation points are located across the event site
(see map on page 6 for locations) plus Rotary
and EHA Volunteers will be walking the
site ready to collect your kind donations.
Thank you to Don Perman and Steve Newman
who are co-ordinating the bucket collections
this year, with Eastbourne, Eastbourne AM,
Eastbourne Sovereign and Beachy Head Rotary
Clubs, whose members are also providing much
needed support.
Our thanks also go to Southern Railway for
their support in adding Eastbourne Station
as a collection point this year.
Please give generously to the circulating bucket
collections at the event, a little definitely goes a
long way.
