The experienced parachutists from The Princess of Wales’s Royal Regiment’s Parachute display team, led by Captain Ian Wicks, have many display routines, all dynamic in style to hold you captivated with an equally exciting commentary. FLYING TIMES Thurs 13:40; Fri 15:28 Sat 16:01; Sun 15:12 The Tigers seniority stems from the Tangier Regiment of 1661 thus having the distinction of being the senior English Infantry Regiment of the line. The team now provide additional support to the Army with an active role in recruitment and image promotion. DID YOU KNOW? The display team was formed in 1986 and originally named ‘The Flying Dragons’, a legacy that still continues to this day, with many members of the Regiment choosing to refer to the team as ‘The Flying Tigers’. 60 EASTBOURNE INTERNATIONAL aIR S HOW 2017
