BOD Comments None I believe we have made good progress and want to continue along that path. Outline any areas where the Executive Director needs improvement to reach higher levels of performance. The Executive Director needs to continue to communicate with staff and board to be sure Beta Club leadership are on the same page. Continue efforts for communication with board of directors, state sponsors, and Beta staff; as we continue to see numerical growth, expanded programs, and recruitment of new states and countries, the issue of clear, timely communication will become pivotal to our Beta organization. Continue working on the goals set forth by the board. This has been a good year for the club and the CEO Employee retention Continue to work on board relations. Improve in the area of respectful interpersonal communication. Outline training/development that will enhance Executive Director’s contribution to the organization. Also specify areas of support and action that the Board can do to help the Executive Director. Continue to make the NBC office a good place to work and have a positive climate for the employees. One thing that needs to be done for our CEO to keep abreast of other educational organizations similar to ours so that new ideas may be acquired from their expertise. The board must continue to allow Mr. Bright the space to do his job, while monitoring the goals set forth for him. Creating partnerships with Beta. Stay on top of technical advancements in education and marketing through leadership training. Board support and action through board members' timely feedback to the Fast Five and other Beta communication. Board needs to work closely with Executive Director to support him and help him in any way possible. n/a Enter any other comments here I appreciate the CEO taking his improvement plan seriously. I have witness growth & maturity as he worked through the plan. I believe this organization has improved tremendously during his tenure. I believe both the CEO, COO & National Sponsors do a great work in their high profile positions. Our state council receives positive feedback on their efforts. Bob - keep up the good work, Beta Club has made some great strides under your leadership. I am personally proud of what your doing on behave of the Beta students. We have had a very good year....growth in numbers, excellent conventions, recognition of students and sponsors expanded.....goal of maintaining our focus on students has proven to get us to where we are. I think we need to keep the same goals for Mr. Bright. I don't see any deficiencies, at this time, that need addressing. It has been a successful year in recruitment of new clubs and marketing. Sales from the Beta Store are outstanding. I think Bob has had a good year. He and his staff work hard to make convention meaningful and memorable for students, staff and parents. Bob has a vision for Beta and he is working hard to get us there. Thank you!
