healthy Morning Routine Start the day right with these simple exercises. You will focus your breathing, stretch out your body, and have a small workout that will strengthen your body as a whole and give you the energy you need to conquer the day. Exercise 1 Breathing Starting position: lay down on your back and place your hands on your ribs. When you inhale feel the ribs expanding towards the side and as you exhale contract the ribs. Sets: 3; Reps: 8. Exercise 2 Splits Starting position: lay down on your back and place your hands on your ribs. When you inhale feel the ribs expanding towards the side and as you exhale contract the ribs. Sets: 3; Reps: 8. Exercise 3 Bridging Starting position: Lay down on your back with your arms on the side. Inhale to start and then start tilting your pelvis starting with the tailbone rolling up through each vertebrate until you are all the way up and then exhale and roll all the way down through each vertebrate until you are in neutral pelvis. Combination: do the same thing just that when you are all the way up you can lift one leg up one at time. Sets: 3; Reps: 8. 16

Exercise 4 Spinal stretch Starting position: get on your knees and place your arms under your shoulders. Inhale and push the floor with you arms and curve your back and then exhale and arch your back keeping your head in line with your spine. Sets: 3; Reps: 8. Exercise 5 Flying Squirrel Starting position: lay on your stomach and place your arms over your head with your forehead parallel to the floor. Inhale reach forward with you arms until it brings you up to stretch your back and then exhale relax back down making sure you keep your head in line with you spine. Sets: 3; Reps: 8. Exercise 6 Push Ups Starting position: lay down Starting Position: Start in a standing plank and as you exhale push down with your arms until your chest is parallel to the floor and then inhale and push up making sure to keep your tailbone down.
