Our friends over at the GWCC (Georgia World Congress Center)
in Atlanta wanted us to re-concept an existing Starbucks space
into a dual purpose coffee shop and bar. In the morning hours
the space would act as a coffee shop and in the evening
transform into a bar/lounge. We designed a space that evoked
the charm of a coffee shop while still maintaining the industrial
cool of a city bar. The juxtaposition of warm wood and copper
finshes along with some ornamental tables you might find in
your grandmas basement and mid century Eames chairs gives
the space a cool vibe without trying too hard.
