christine Space Saver, Life Saver & Money Saver 10 December 2016 - Published on Amazon.com Colour: Black Verified Purchase I upgraded from my Wacom Bamboo tablet that I had gotten as a gift a few years back as I noted it had recently started to have issues. It would disconnect randomly, sensitivity was next to nothing, had to be physically connected to my computer to work (when it did) and the pen was rather bulky compared to some others out on the market. I got that back in 2003, so it was time to get something new. So I did my research, and what I could get the most out of my money and everything led back to this product. Packaging: the first impression I had is that the sellers truly wanted the tablet to get to the buyer safe and sound. Opening the box, I was pleased to find a sheet of bubble wrap between the box and the tablet itself. Very happy to see that as my last tablet only had a thin piece of paper to protect it from the box and outside world. Underneath the tablet was another compartment where it held the contents that were the pen, glove, pen holder/mount, instructions to install and the install disc itself. Wrapped up neat and tidy. Installing: So I read the previous review about the install disc not working, but I wanted to see for myself if this was still and issue. Tried the install disc, didn't work. Downloaded the XP-Pen Tablet Star 05 software from the website, still didn't work. So Read I downloaded more the 04 software, and everything was working perfectly from there! 77 people found this helpful. Amazon Customer Just as good as a small Wacom Intuos Pro, but cheaper! 24 November 2016 - Published on Amazon.com Colour: Black I’ve been a Wacom Intuos user for ten years. After three weeks with the Star 05 Wireless, I can confidently say it’s a wonderful and cheap alternative to a wireless small Intuos tablet (which I also own!). FIRST GLANCE: -Amazingly cheap for a wireless tablet. It’s $69.99 on amazon.com, compared to Wacom’s $179.99 for a small Intuos Pro. -Solid and clean design: It utilizes the whole space of the tablet! No unnecessary extra space that makes you think “why can’t that be a part Web page converted to PDF with the PDFmyURL PDF creation API!
of my drawing space?” (which my Intuos tablet admittedly has, but I can get that tablets have different builds). -Customizable touchkeys: Instead of shortcut buttons you need to click, this tablet has touch-sensitive shortcut keys! You can customize two keys to switch between options like zoom in/out, undo/redo, or even increase/decrease brush size! I find this very handy! Bryan Haley Enable Windows Ink in Drivers 2 October 2017 - Published on Amazon.com Colour: Black Verified Purchase This should really be default since most people wouldn't think to do this, but - make sure to check the "Windows Ink" checkbox in the Pentablet driver settings. Photoshop, 3D Coat, and many other modern applications use Windows Ink rather than the older WinTab drivers by default nowadays; leaving that box unchecked means you'll have to do additional setup to get pressure sensitivity to work. However, when Windows Ink is checked, the tablet should work out-of-the-box with most applications. Other than that nuance, it's pretty much as good as it gets. Also comes with one of the XP-Pen artist gloves. I would recommend this tablet for sure. 16 people found this helpful. › Go to Amazon.com to see all 142 reviews Back to top Web page converted to PDF with the PDFmyURL PDF creation API!
