The Elim Leaders Summit provides a unique opportunity to encourage and inspire Elim leadership teams and individuals, bringing them together for greater effectiveness wherever they serve. The summit helps both full-time and volunteer Elim leaders by going beyond inspirational teaching and providing practical, equipping resources that help to sharpen their own personal ministry.

Children are the church of both today and tomorrow. We believe God is stirring something new and children are part of His plan. To enable this, we are passionate to raise-up our children’s workers across the country. Our children’s ministry leaders play a crucial role in facilitating the spiritual development of our children, reaching into communities and encouraging each child to discover their God-given potential. The children’s workers stream is a fantastic opportunity to connect, equip, encourage and inspire those with a heart to see God move amongst our children. THE DISCIPLESHIP JOURNEY Tuesday 2:15pm Queens Suite 1 God has called us to make disciples. If our ministry is the only spiritual input for a child, how can we help them journey from unsaved to fully established disciples. Be inspired by stories of children being discipled and discipling their friends. Reflect on the process of discipleship and how the structure of our ministries serves this. OLLY GOLDENBERG Olly Goldenberg is the director of Children Can, an international ministry connecting generations and reviving the next generation to reach their full potential in God. KIDMIN 101 Tuesday 3:45pm Queens Suite 1 This session provides you with all the basics you need to be able to run children’s work in your church effectively and safely, including an outline of all the safeguarding essentials from Simon Bass, Director of Church Safeguarding Consultancy. A free sample of kids work plans, processes, procedures and paperwork will be also be provided as a part of the session. NICK WHITTOME Nick is the Associate Pastor at Birmingham City Church with oversight of the kids ministry. GROWING AND ENVISIONING TEAM Wednesday 2:15pm Queens Suite 1 Take a closer look into some of the key elements of how to grow and envision a team. Explore how to go from having leaders who help in kid’s ministry out of duty to growing people into passionate leaders who go above and beyond the one hour on a Sunday Morning. Fruitful leaders grow fruitful kids. DANI JOHNSTON Dani has been involved with kid’s ministry over many years and currently serves as Kids Pastor in LGCC. INCLUSION IN OUR CHILDREN’S MINISTRY Wednesday 3:45pm Queens Suite 1 A session looking at supporting children from different cultural backgrounds and those with additional needs in church. We will look at the importance of including all children and focus on what it would look like to build a SEN (Special Educational Needs) program into a children’s ministry. EMMA BACON Emma is the children’s worker at Coventry Elim where she leads the children’s ministry. HELPING CHILDREN ENCOUNTER GOD Thursday 2:15pm Queens Suite 1 God does not expect us to follow him without encountering him and every generation needs a fresh outpouring of God’s Holy Spirit.
