First, it will shorten your life. An Australian study found that to spend one hour in front of the television may increase the risk of dying from cancer by 9% and the risk of death from cardiovascular disease by 18%. Researchers conducted a follow-up survey on 8,800 adults who have the habit of watching TV for six years, and found that those who watch TV for four hours a day suffer from a higher risk of dying from heart disease than those who watch TV for two hours a day by 80%. In addition, research has also shown that it will increase the risk of the diabetes if watching TV for a long time.
